I would like to take an opportunity to welcome you to our program. Let me share my journey; since I was a young girl, I enjoyed building relationships. Coming from a military background and having the opportunity to travel, developed a passion for learning and teaching others about celebrating diversity. Little Angels was created with this purpose in mind. Our curriculum was inspired by "Reggio Emilia Approach," therefore, we look forward to being co-learners together in developing our projects.

I consider myself a lifelong learner. I'm pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development at Pacific Oaks College. Throughout the years, there has been a shift in careers, first my intention in becoming a lawyer, then joining Chevron Corporation with a concentration in finance. Once my children entered high school, I was able to pursue my new goal of opening a center in 2001. My desire is to continue to support and guide families and the community. Through my role as Director, Mentor, Professional Growth Advisor in partnership with LMC.

As we bgin this journey together, the key thing you should know about me is that I am 100% invested in you child's success, so please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, particularly if you have something personal you'd like to discuss with me. Please feel free to contact me via email with any questions or support. We invite families to address any issues and concerns in writing. We value your thoughts, respecting that we are all unique individuals. Best practices and building relationships with families is an essential component in providing a "High Quality" program. We look forward to growing and learning together!! Building a true sense of community. Together we are stronger!!

Our Little Angels, families, and Staff look forward to an exciting year.

Hello, I was born in Oakland, CA. I am the youngest in the family of two sisters and two brothers. We lived in Oakland till I was 7 yrs. And then we moved to Pleasanton where we lived for 7 years. Wanting more space and the country lifestyle my parents purchased some land in Oakley and we moved once again. Here I attended Knightsen Elementary and graduated from Liberty High.
I married my HS sweetheart and best friend Jim; we have a home in Oakley and keep busy with our family. Daryl our oldest lives in Phoenix, Christopher has a home in Oakley, and Sara our youngest recently graduated from Cal State East Bay. We have 4 grandchildren Annabelle, Emmaline, Daryl Jr., and Carter we ae so entertained by them and love being grandparents. As a family we enjoy camping, bicycling, gardening , our pets and getting together with family and friends.
I have worked in the child care field for over 30 years and I stay current in the education of young children with classes workshops, and currently enrolled at Cerro Coso. My goal is to achieve my degree in Early Childhood Development. I am very excited and happy to be here at LACS and look forward to getting to know your children, I value the relationships that I can build with families and your children.
I was born in Mexico, came to the United Estates when I was 9 years old. Grew up here in Antioch along with my brother and sister and cousins. I graduated from Antioch High School. Went to Los Medanos College started my General Education, when I took a Child Development class I fell in love and wanted to look more into it. I met with the First 5 counselor and she guided me to which classes to take. After I had my son, back in 2014, I took a break from school and working at a Grocery store was just not it for me. I quit my job and in fall 2014 I started working at Los Medanos College Child Study Center in the 2-year-old classroom. After Spring 2016 I decided to focus on school and my son, until January 2017 when I started my journey here at Little Angels Country School. I am still in school taking a couple of classes at a time at Cerro Coso Community College and Los Medanos College.
I really enjoy working and learning from your children every single day!
Fun Facts:
I love arts and crafts! I spend most of my free time, baking with my son, painting or drawing. I also enjoy making cakes and cookies, decorations, anything crafty and DIY!
Hello, I was born in Walnut Creek and have been living in Antioch most of my life. I grew up with my parents and older sister. I have a big extended family with many cousins. Family is everything to me and it is highly valued. My cousins are what led me to an interest in teaching. I graduated from Dozier Libbey Medical High School in 2017. After high school, I went to Los Medanos Community College to pursue a career in Child Development. I worked at the LMC Child Study Center for a year in the 3-5 year old classroom. I graduated in May 2020 with my AST Degree in Child Development and I am planning to attend Brandman University in Fall 2020 to further my education and get a Bachelors Degree. I obtained an Associate Teacher Permit and started working at Little Angels Country School in March 2020. I started out as a student teacher for a class at Los Medanos to gain experience working at another childcare facility and ended up enjoying my time here and stayed to become a teacher.
I enjoy everything with art. I love to paint, craft, and build.

I look forward to getting to know every child and their families.
